Flips and Flippy Tricks with Edith Han

Instructor: Guest Instructor - Edith Han

Are you an intermediate to advanced student looking to add some dynamic movement to your routine? Want to learn more but feel nervous to flip? In this dynamic workshop, we’ll learn and explore a variety of pole flip variations with support and spotting. You’ll learn flips from both the floor and higher up the pole.

Prerequisites:

The flips include regressions where possible. This intermediate workshop is for students who have:
* A strong inside and outside leg hang
* The ability to invert from the floor
* Comfortable with jasmine poses at a minimum. Brass monkey and ayesha/handspring for more advanced flips are optional

The instructor bio: Edith is mover of all forms and loves exploring dance as forms of self expression and athleticism. Having explored various forms of dance for decades, she began her pole and aerial arts journey in 2022 and has loved exploring and experimenting with all styles. Edith is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment in a vulnerable space and encourages participants to come as their true selves.

To ensure an uninterrupted experience for all students, doors will lock 5 minutes after class begins. Please arrive on time to secure your spot!
