Time to unleash your inner baddie with this basework tricks mini series. Work on getting into stunning static and dynamic moves utilizing both strength and flexibility all at the bottom of the pole. We will focus on strengthening our cores to make moves look effortless and stretching our legs to give the look (or with clever modifications the illusion!) of dramatic splits and lines. Each week will be a new set of moves woven into a loose choreo, and a freestyle at the end incorporating anything that makes you feel like a real Basework Baddie ;)
Notes: Kneepads, covered shoulders, and socks are encouraged.
Pre-requisites: Basic Floorwork or equivalent, forwards roll, backwards roll, shoulder stand
Emma's Bio: Starting in 2020, Emma (She/Her) has tried a little of everything but truly loves anything that lets her slink, slide, and build strength on the floor. She enjoys discovering new movements and paths that feel natural to her way of dancing. She hopes that by sharing what she loves, students will take or leave what resonates with them and develop their own authentic dance style.
Pass Required: Event Fee
Recordings: This class allows recordings.
